** NEW THIS YEAR!! **
We are excited to announce the addition of:
Little Hoopsters (Co-ed Kindergarten) - $30
and
Girls House League Grades 10-12 - $95
Little Hoopsters is an introduction to the fundamentals of basketball.
The group will meet on 4 Saturdays for 1.5 hour. Girls and Boys
together will learn essential drills and skills of basketball
and play some pick-up games. Each child will receive a
basketball as part of registration fee.
Girls House League Grades 10-12 is an intramural league
in which RAYBA has teamed up with Elk River as we do with Girls grade 7-9.
Rogers players will be placed on a Rogers-only teams and
play games in Rogers and Elk River with a season ending tournament.
** NOTICE OF CHANGE TO TRAVEL FEES **
RAYBA has implemented an increase of $50 up front to all travel fees (grades 5-8)
for the 2010-11 Season. This increase covers the two optional team tournaments
that were paid for by each team separate from the travel registration fee
(amounting to roughly $50). In effect, the total outlay of travel fees
has not changed. We believe this change will improve parents understanding
of travel expenses up front and eliminate the administration burden for coaches
and team to collect fees and register for tournaments on their own.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
RAYBA will once again be sponsoring a 10,000 Shot Challenge
for summer 2010. This challenge is open to all boys and girls
entering 4th through 8th grade in September, 2010. All registered
participants who complete 10,000 shots and return the
completed Shot Chart before the deadline will receive a t-shirt
recognizing their effort.
Registration ended Saturday, June 26th, 2010.
Completed Shot Charts must be received by
Wednesday, September 1st, 2010.
